The Newhall Mansion at Piru is located on nine acres of lushly planted grounds, in a climate capable of supporting both tropical and subtropical plantings. Mature growth is everywhere; some olive stands are over 110 years old. The gentle sloping terrain gives privacy and seclusion between orange orchards and the lovely rugged Los Padres mountains to the north.

Deck RailingAs you enter the estate, you pass between two stately English street lamps which were cast for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Other buildings on the grounds are a Victorian carriage house, pump house and an original three-hole outhouse — naturally in the round, and all very ornate.
