The Newhall Mansion interior comprises over 12,000 square feet on four levels, including five complete bedrooms with six baths.

The Mansion includes eight gas fireplaces, each unique with variations of carved wood, marble and tiled mantels, facings and hearths. The Main Level covers close to 3, 200 square feet of ornate patterned ceramic tile floors under 12-foot ceilings. Walls are covered with imported flocked wallpaper. All main living areas are fitted with elaborate antique chandeliers.

Various rich woods are used throughout the Mansion — these include crotched mahogany, Carpathian elm burl, birch and fine-grain redwood in intricate trim, wainscoting and paneling typical of the elegant Queen Anne style.

The living room has extensive use of glass to take advantage of the Santa Clara River Valley's natural mountain and valley views through palladium picture windows, and an array of multi-colored stained glass and leaded glass windows which create rainbows of colors to brighten the day.

The Library has a rich paneled ceiling with intricate hand-crafted wood spindles, a marble-faced fireplace with a stained glass window insert, and built-in mahogany bookcases and entertainment center.
